This high tech looking motorcycle was inspired, not surprisingly, by the movie, Tron. Unlike the fantasy vehicles in the movie, though, this bike is totally street legal. It was designed for slow cruising and design shows, but it sports a 996cc engine, which is plenty powerful. The aerodynamic design features electroluminescent strips that illuminate the vehicle, making it a hard bike to overlook, indeed.
The hubless wheels are one of the most interesting design features of the bike, and one of the ones that make it look, well, kind of fake. I mean, this is a cool toy, but it looks like a toy, too, which is not exactly what most people are looking for in a mode of transportation. Collectors and Tronnies are ready to rejoice, though, at the prospect of turning their favorite high tech fantasy into reality. At $55,000, it’s a lot more expensive than other bikes of its size, but then again, it is made to order.
