The "New Yorker" Art Deco Keyboard

I’m always fascinated by new technology that looks old. I’m not sure what computer is cool enough to deserve this amazing keyboard, but I’m determined to find it. Made by Datamancer, this keyboard was inspired by the Deco design of the Chrysler Building. It features keys that look like classic Deco era elevator buttons, and an aluminum and brass case.

At $2,800, this is definitely the priciest keyboard I’ve ever seen, but it might be worth it. Let’s be honest, the New Yorker keyboard is more of a work of art than your average computer peripheral. It would be at home in even the poshest retro digs, not to mention the fact that its high quality construction is far more durable than the flimsy plastics you see on most keyboards. Still, the question remains: what computer is the New Yorker fit to accessorize? Well, I’m not sure right now, but I’m on the hunt.
